Welcome to the internet home of Paul Semrad: musician, designer and luthier. Explore these pages and then reach out if there's a project we can collaborate on together. My skillset ranges from sound design where I compose custom music beds and develop sophisticated, layered sound effects in Qlab to graphic design and layout using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. My passion is electric guitars and for the last fifteen years I have been learning about and working on various custom models that I design and build myself as an amateur luthier. I dabble in theater as an actor and as an on-stage musician from time to time and enjoy all aspects of live theater and performing arts.

I am married to Sarah Jane (Aurah) and have two grown children, Eva and Jiri. We live in the Oak Cliff neighborhood of Dallas where we enjoy fixing up our hundred year old house and hosting a Full Moon Salon.
